One user reported receiving an incredible USD 1072 credited to their account, while another user mentioned receiving USD 240. Several Reddit users also shared their experiences with the Google Pay glitch. He also suspected that the extra funds were an error and joked that the money would just sit in his account for the time being. He advised users to open the Google Pay app, swipe to the "Deals" tab, and look for any "rewards" listed at the top of the screen. I just opened Google Pay and saw that I have $46 in "rewards" that I got "for dogfooding the Google Pay Remittance experience." Meanwhile, read about what former Shark Tank India judge Ashneer Grover thinks about WhatsApp pay in India.Uhhh, Google Pay seems to just be randomly giving users free money right now. #GPay now are days i have stop scratching this garbage from Gpay /nb2v8eBuREĭear Google Pay, hypocrisy ki bhi seema hoti hai yaar. I’m sure you're gonna relate with these reactions from the netizens. The occasional cash backs are once in a blue moon. It so happens in the other payment apps like Paytm as well. A few of these users posted a ss of their app, having never opened the rewards cuz of the unpleasant experience in the past. PFB memes galore for your chuckling pleasure. Netizens took to the internet (yet again) to roast the heck outta Google Pay’s stoopid af reward system. What use a zomato coupon would be for a user who hails from a town without Swiggys, Zomotos or Ubers? What about those who don’t use ‘em apps for t’s unaffordable?

Most of these rewards, coupons and offers won for achieving any level whatsoever, are useless.

Not so the reward system that comes along. It gets irritating towards the advent of the festive season on year end as the app is in hyper gamification mode with its various reward based games that are undoubtedly engaging and interactive. I’m sure you’ve swore a quadrillion times at the app (and its devs) for serving you a scratch card that is as empty as your savings account. If anyone’s more ‘dhokebaaz’ than your (now ghosting) buddy who refuses to pay back, it is Google Pay.
