Whether they come in the form of subtle marketing for Dead Space or unofficial homages, it is worth taking a look at Isaac’s lengthy resume of non-canon game appearances. Few protagonists come close to Isaac’s number of cameo appearances, and these crossovers have helped give him a star power he would not have otherwise. That is exactly what he has done, though, making well over a dozens cameos in games vastly different from his own. However, even with his standout grunts and the occasional action hero line making him a fan favorite, few would expect Isaac Clarke of all characters to travel the video game industry and show up everywhere.
With his relatable motivation, interesting lore tying him to Unitology, and a perfect actor choice with Gunner Wright, there is plenty to love about Isaac Clarke. The weapons feel different from those in other horror games due to their engineering connection, as does the main protagonist of the series. Dead Space is interesting for many reasons, ranging from unforgettable settings like the USG Ishimura to the grotesque Necromorphs that are constantly moving throughout vents and plotting their attack.
